Today is my final analysis. I am going to be analysing a Rock Sound double page spread which features Beyond the Horizon. This double page spread is image dominated with the image covering both pages. The image is shot on location rather than in a studio like many of the other double page spreads I have analysed and it adds a nice effect to the spread. Again this spread doesn't concentrate on the text, with a significant amount of the text not even being part of the article. There is also a small title which only features the band member in the middle Oli Sykes, who has has the largest consitunancy.
The only conventions I would consider using from this spread would be the mise-en-scene of the photograph, as I really like the way the band has been styled using casual clothes and band tees. The other convention I would use is the quote at the bottom left of the page, as this is a good way to fill space. There are no other conventions I would use as I feel like this spread is more focused on the image and it doesn't pay that much attention to the text, so the readers would do the same.
